Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for a Golden Family Visa, the sponsor must:

  • Hold a valid 2-year, 5-year, or 10-year investor or retirement visa.

  • Demonstrate sufficient financial stability to support dependents.

  • Meet GDRFA conditions for dependent sponsorship (e.g., unmarried daughters, sons under 25).

  • Sponsor’s passport + residence visa copies.

  • NOC letter from the father, attested by the notary public (if mother is sponsor) for boys below 18 and girls below 21.

  • Proof of mother’s status (residence or Emirates ID copy) if father is sponsor.

  • Clear scan color copy of the applicant’s passport (valid more than 6 months).

  • Clear scan color copy of the previous residence visa (if applicable).

  • Legalized birth certificate (by Ministry of Foreign Affairs and UAE Embassy, translated to Arabic).

  • Consulate letter proving relationship (if birth certificate unavailable, attested by MOFA, translated to Arabic, starting with “This is to confirm” or “This is to clarify”).

  • High-quality digital photo meeting ICP specifications (see Federal Authority guidelines).

  • National ID for applicants from IRAN, PAKISTAN, IRAQ, LIBYA, AFGHANISTAN.

  • 2-year visa holders: Boys sponsored until 25 (no renewal after), daughters if unmarried regardless of age.

  • Sons/daughters over 18 require father’s unmarried undertake letter via online portal.

  • 10-year (property owner) or 5-year (retiree) visa holders can sponsor dependents for the same duration if unmarried.

  • Consulate letter must include both parents’ names.

  • Legalized marriage certificate (by Ministry of Foreign Affairs and UAE Embassy, translated to Arabic).

  • Consulate letter proving relationship (if marriage certificate unavailable, attested by MOFA, translated to Arabic, starting with “This is to confirm” or “This is to clarify”).

  • National ID for applicants from IRAN, PAKISTAN, IRAQ, LIBYA, AFGHANISTAN.

  • Medical insurance (DHA Basic or Comprehensive) is mandatory; we assist with registration.
